Report: Elon Musk’s Drug Use Reportedly Escalated During 2024 Presidential Campaign

According to sources who spoke to The New York Times, Elon Musk reportedly increased his drug use during the 2024 presidential campaign. During this period, he allegedly donated around $270 million to support Donald Trump’s election efforts.

The Times reports that Musk’s drug consumption reportedly went beyond recreational use over the past year. Sources claim he carried a medication box containing approximately 20 pills, including Adderall. Furthermore, his use of ketamine was reportedly so frequent that it began to affect his bladder.

Musk’s use of drugs like ketamine, psychedelic mushrooms, and ecstasy has been well-documented and is reportedly a source of concern for board members at companies he leads, including Tesla and SpaceX. The latter, as a major government contractor, is required to maintain a drug-free workplace. The Times report also alleges that Musk received advance notice of drug tests.

It remains unclear whether Musk’s erratic behavior, such as insulting cabinet members, doing the Nazi salute, and exhibiting jumbled speech during earnings calls and other public events, is directly linked to his reported drug use.

The report further details how Musk’s increasing embrace of right-wing politics coincided with personal challenges, including a custody battle with musician Grimes over their five-year-old son, known as X.

Musk announced this week that he was ending his involvement with the government and stepping back from political activities to concentrate on his business ventures. He is scheduled to hold a joint press conference with President Trump on Friday afternoon.
