Google’s Updated Gemini 2.5 Pro AI Model Claims Superior Coding Prowess
Google has announced an updated preview of its Gemini 2.5 Pro AI model, claiming enhanced capabilities in programming tasks. This update builds upon the previous Gemini 2.5 Pro version that was released approximately a month ago.
According to Google, the updated model is slated for general availability within the next few weeks. Starting today, developers can access it via AI Studio, Vertex AI, and the Gemini app.
In a blog post, Google emphasized [Gemini 2.5 Pro]’s coding capabilities, noting its leadership in challenging coding benchmarks. The model also exhibits top-tier performance in benchmarks assessing math, science, knowledge, and reasoning.
Google has also addressed feedback from the previous 2.5 Pro release, leading to improvements in the model’s style and structure. The company claims that 2.5 Pro is now more creative and delivers better-formatted responses.
